Advanced Writing Seminar
Advanced Writing Seminar programs are immersive one- or two-week pre-college experiences for dedicated teen writers. Our flagship program is the two-week residency in NYC with a multi-genre portfolio curriculum. We also have a two-week Novel Writing program online.
Advanced Writing Seminar: Online Novel Writing
Monday, July 28th to Friday, August 8th, 2025
Join us online for 10 weekday sessions focusing on novel writing, led by a published author.
Time: Monday through Friday, 1 PM to 4 PM Eastern Time (No workshops on Saturday or Sunday)
Tuition: $1390 (includes additional staff feedback and manuscript review). Limited financial aid is available. To apply for aid, please email financialaid@writopialab.org with a copy of your tax returns and a brief statement of need.
Application Includes:
- Writer’s Statement
- Writing Sample (5-10 pages)
- Letter of Recommendation from a teacher
