Shira joined Writopia Lab in March 2010 as an administrative assistant and occasional assistant in workshops. She is currently a graduate student at Bank Street College studying Literacy and General Childhood Education. However, she will always be an English Major at heart. Shira graduated from Stern College (the women’s branch of Yeshiva University in Midtown) with a degree in English Literature, and she loves to write stories and poetry--both serious and silly.
